Set up in 1971 as an offshoot of the British Club, the Bahrain RugbyFootball Club has come a long way over the last three decades. In 1974,
it moved to a new location near the Airport in Muharraq and then to Saar
in 1977. It moved to its current location in Janabiyah during the
mid-nineties.
